General Information

• Serves as the Department Head for the Department of Administration:

Oversees:         Planning & Development Division

                        Municipal Court

                        Tax Assessor’s Office

                        Mail and Receiving Section

• Liaison between the Executive and Legislative Branches of Municipal Government.

• Oversees all departments, except Council, i.e. Revenue & Finance, Human Resources, Law, Public Works, Health & Human Services, Public Safety andNeighborhood Services.

• Serves as the Department Head to any department that has a vacancy.

• Assists and oversees the preparation of the annual and capital budgets.

• Reports to the Mayor and City Council.

• Attends all City Council meetings.

• Analyses the organization and operations of all departments within the executive branch of Municipal Government.

• Oversees spending within the Municipal Government.

• Oversees all legislation submitted by the executive branch of Municipal Government.

WHO THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE SERVICES

The Business Administrator’s Office serves the Community and all employees.
